SPORT FENCING
Some sport fencing requires roofs & some require ball netting instead of chain wire.
It is not only sporting clubs who require these fences,
but also the backyard sporting buff who can have their favourite sporting pitch/arena set up on their property for hours of sport, fun, fitness for family & friends.
Posts for lighting, scoreboards etc can also be incorporated into the sport arena.
Seating for spectators can also be incorporated in these sporting facilities
& a great way to get family & friends together to partake or watch some sport
Tennis Court fencing uses chainwire due to its strength & durability.
The standard height is 3000mm or 3600mm
with final design being dependent on location, colour, configuration & budget.
Powder coated galvanised posts, rails & fittings with PVC coated chainwire
is most used either black or green coloured to co-ordinate with your surroundings.
It is advisable to install a continuous top rail for strength & durability
& a bottom rail to prolong the life of your tennis court fence.
Cricket & Golf range materials can be chainwire or netting.
These generally have the 3 sides so that ball can be struck in the one direction only.
They may have a roof consisting of the same or similar materials as the enclosure.
They may also have netting at the back to preserve the life of the fence.
Cricket Nets are constructed along similar paths to the golf & cricket ranges.
They may have a gate so that area can have the option to be enclosed completely or left open for the required run before bowling.
Golf safety fencing can be installed on the edge of golf courses or close to their carparks,
clubhouses etc as extra protection for miss guided or stray golf balls.
These are usually free standing chainwire with the diamond size of 25mm to stop stray balls.
Softball fencing can be quite vast with the fencing all around the whole field of play.
Extra height is required around the diamond along with extra fencing often required
around the bunkers to protect the players not currently on field as well as coaching staff etc.
Sports fencing for Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball etc
usually consists of high fencing to contain the ball in the area of play.
The height obviously is determined by the sport.
Pickleball has become quite a popular sport in Australia, especially with the more mature generation.
It combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis for 2 or 4 players using a plastic ball paddle made of wood or composite
materials played on a court similar in size to badminton, either in or outdoors.
